Product Overview

Carbon HD6 is an 18 AWG cable for high-definition video, RF (cable and satellite TV) and subwoofer applications. Carbon is a high-performance, low-distortion cable that employs superior design and materials, and can be terminated in the field. Carbon features solid 5% silver conductors and 100% shield coverage using a 4-layer shield. Carbon can be used with AudioQuest's ITC-18 RCA, BNC and F-type connectors. In all applications, Carbon minimizes distortion and increases entertainment immersion and fun!

Solid 5% Silver Conductors

Solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion and reduce jitter. Solid silver-plated conductors are excellent for very high-frequency applications, like HDMI audio and video. These signals, being such a high frequency, travel almost exclusively on the surface of the conductor. As the surface is made of high-purity silver, the performance is very close to that of a solid silver cable, but priced much closer to solid copper cable. This is an incredibly cost effective way of manufacturing very high-quality HDMI cables.
