Another Flanner, Another Local Business…From a Rooftop in New York City

Ben Flanner, one of John & Cindy's sons, has started a roof-top farming business, Rooftop Farms, in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn overlooking the Manhattan skyline. His new business has been featured on CBS News, Bloomberg News, BBC America, Dan Rather Reports Online, local news affiliates, and international media.

Ben’s 6,000 square foot rooftop farm grows a variety of fruits and vegetables, with several local restaurants and markets buying his produce. Ben even delivers the produce himself, riding his over sized tricycle on the streets on New York.
