In-home repairs are a convenient way for you to deal with TV service issues.

There is an $85 Diagnosis Fee for a Service Tech to come to your home and determine the level of repair needed. That $85 fee is credited towards your final repair charge. If you chose to not have your item repaired, you are charged the $85 fee. Once our Service Tech makes their diagnosis, a complete quote will be prepared and presented for the repair, including parts. Your approval is needed before any further work would be completed.

Applies to any TV repair which does not require disassembly of the set, or involves the replacement of only cosmetic parts (screens, control doors, etc.) “Service mode” adjustments through the remote control are the main type of repair that would qualify as minor.

Applies to any TV repair which requires disassembly of the set (removing a back, front, or side panel), is determined to be beyond a simple maintenance call, and does not require part replacement. Reconnections, resoldering, etc. are typical examples of intermediate repairs.

Applies to any TV repair which requires disassembly and part replacement, but excludes lamp replacement. Replacement of circuit boards, power supplies, etc. are typical examples of major repairs.

This service includes changing the lamp, resetting the internal lamp timers, and doing a complete performance check and cleaning of the set to bring the set back as closely as possible to “like new” performance. Service cost does NOT include the cost of the bulb.
